Paramedic for Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth Emergency Department (Day Shift).
Overview
Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth is a 30-bed acute care surgical hospital with an Emergency Department, inpatient unit, ICU, and diagnostic imaging facilities. A joint venture among Tenet Healthcare, USPI, and the Baylor Scott & White network, the facility provides a range of surgical services and technology-enabled care.
Responsibilities
The ED Paramedic assists with basic patient care based on individual patient needs within his/her scope of practice under the direct supervision of the registered nurse or physician at Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth and Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Outpatient Center.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Completion of basic arrhythmia course
Licensure/Certification:
Current EMT or Paramedic certification
BLS Required
Specific Job Experience:
Minimum 1 year experience in a hospital or ambulance setting
Previous experience with Electronic Healthcare Records is helpful
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Good communication and people skills; excellent customer service; excellent clinical skills appropriate for an EMT or Paramedic
