Life Safety and Fire Protection Services provider , is seeking a
Life Safety Inspection Technician
to join their team. As a Life Safety Inspection Technician, you will be part of the
Service & Inspections Department
supporting the
Life Safety Inspections Team . The ideal candidate will have
strong attention to detail ,
effective communication skills , and
the ability to work independently .

Life Safety Inspection Technician
Location:
Chattanooga, TN
Pay Range:
$23 - $28 per hour
What’s the Job?
Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on SimplexGrinnell life safety systems and similar manufacturers’ equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to ensure accurate inspections.
Meet customer expectations by completing quality inspections and clearly communicating findings.
Complete service requests with proper coding and maintain digital inspection documentation using a laptop.
Follow a highly structured inspection schedule to ensure all assigned inspections are completed on time.
What’s Needed?
High School Diploma or equivalent required; NICET certification preferred but not required.
Experience using hand tools and working with low-voltage electrical devices.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
Ability to lift and carry tools and equipment up to 50 pounds and work from ladders or lifts.
Reliable transportation required.
