Outbuildings Service Technician - MercyOne Genesis Medical Center - 1st Shift
Salary: $23.00 to $35.00 per hour

Job Summary
The Outbuildings Service Technician reports to the Facilities Assistant Director. Coordinates building services and system maintenance for a small group of buildings. This is a first shift 8am to 4:30pm M-F schedule.
Responsibilities
Coordinates and schedules small to mid-size projects alongside Facilities Project Coordinator
Performs key role in the oversight of structural maintenance and building operations
Performs preventative maintenance program tasks as assigned
Interacts with building occupants resolving day to day maintenance problems
Is responsible for the workflow of subcontractors involved in small to mid-size projects and renovations
Assists with coordinating office moves
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma
3+ years general maintenance experience in a commercial setting
Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
Valid driver’s license
Experience working with outside vendors
Ability to work independently and without immediate supervision
Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills are crucial
