Job Description:
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong design and integration experience to support aerospace or complex mechanical systems. This role involves hands‑on engineering support during assembly, development of engineering documentation, and collaboration across manufacturing, quality, and test teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, analyze, and modify mechanical systems and hardware.
Develop CAD models, drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Lead integration and assembly activities, optimizing build processes and workflows.
Provide hands‑on support to technicians to resolve fit, alignment, and build issues.
Design and maintain GSE and tooling for assembly and testing.
Investigate failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related field.
2+ years of experience in aerospace or similar mechanical systems.
Proficiency in CAD tools (Creo, NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks).
Strong knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
Experience with fabrication, machining, and assembly processes.
Hands‑on experience in integration/test environments.
Additional Qualifications
Experience with electromechanical systems.
Knowledge of exotic materials (e.g., ceramics).
Experience in GSE/tooling design.
FEA experience (ANSYS, NASTRAN, etc.).
