
Licensed Journeyman Electrician in Middleton

KMC Electric is seeking
Licensed Journeyman Electricians
to support
multifamily and commercial new construction projects . This role is ideal for experienced electricians who can work independently, support crews, and ensure high-quality, code-compliant installations. The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in accordance with applicable codes, safety standards, and project specifications. This role may also provide guidance to apprentices and support job site leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Install and maintain electrical systems in
multifamily and commercial construction environments
Perform
rough-in and finish work , including conduit installation, wiring, and device placement
Read and interpret
blueprints, schematics, and specifications
Install panels, circuits, and electrical components
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues as they arise
Ensure all work complies with
local, state, and electrical codes
Maintain a safe and organized job site and adhere to
OSHA safety standards
Communicate effectively with foremen, supervisors, and team members
Minimum Qualifications
Valid Journeyman Electrician License
(required)
Experience in
commercial and/or multifamily construction
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and materials
Ability to read and interpret construction documents and schematics
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to
50 pounds
regularly
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in various positions throughout the day
Ability to work in
active construction environments
and varying weather conditions
Work Environment
Indoor and outdoor construction job sites
Travel may be required depending on project needs
Overtime may be available.
