Job Summary
The Dietary Aide position ensures the sanitary conditions of the cooking and dining areas. This position helps to assemble meal trays and assists in preparation and serving of meals to our residents.
Responsibilities
Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses, etc.
Assist Cook in preparing meals
Responsible for delivering meals to resident rooms or tables and setting up meal trays in accordance with dietary orders and tray cards.
Cleans utensils, dishes, and pots and pans by operating the dishwasher or proper handwashing processes
Partners with dietary staff to ensure equipment is working properly and at the appropriate temperature.
Stock ingredients and monitor inventory
Perform other duties as assigned or needed
Requirements
Food Handlers permit required by the State upon hire
