Kalamazoo, MI . The role involves overseeing maintenance technicians, ensuring work orders are completed timely, collaborating with vendors, ordering supplies, managing apartment turns, handling service requests, and maintaining overall apartment community quality.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee a team of maintenance technicians.
Ensure timely completion of work orders.
Collaborate with vendors and manage supply ordering.
Coordinate apartment turns and service requests.
Maintain overall maintenance of the apartment community.
Qualifications
HVAC knowledge.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Background in plumbing, electrical, and drywall.
Appliance repair skills.
Experience with apartment turns.
Ability to contact and negotiate with vendors.
Knowledge of residential repairs.
Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
Strong organizational skills.
Availability for emergency on‑call rotation.
