
Mechanical Engineer - Propulsion
Hardware FYI, Titusville, FL, United States
Perform preliminary and detailed level component and system design, development, and integration for propulsion systems.
Support subsystem integration and assist in conceptual development and requirements definition.
Conduct trade studies to select appropriate design solutions.
Develop product performance specifications and maintain engineering drawings and specifications.
Provide requirements flow-down, verification, and maintain technical baseline at suppliers.
Support dynamic test definitions, requirements development, and data reduction.
Present analysis data to engineering teams and customer representatives during technical interchange meetings.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Knowledge of mechanical CAD modeling and drafting (Creo or equivalent).
Understanding of mechanical and propulsion engineering principles.
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance; US citizenship required.
Familiarity with propulsion system integration and risk evaluation.
Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
Hands-on hardware experience and knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
