About the Role
In this internship you will work with HDR’s Transportation Business Group to support projects that enable safe, efficient, and sustainable mobility solutions. Your contributions will support economic vitality and quality of life in the communities we serve.
Responsibilities
Gain real‑world experience on exciting projects
Connect with recent college graduates and company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs
Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures
Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or project manager
Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
In the final 2 years of a degree program with a minimum 3.0 GPA
Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to the field of study or industry
Preference for local candidates
Required Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program
Attention to detail
Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
Basic Microsoft Office skills
Commitment to active participation in an employee‑owned culture
