Job Overview
Ready & Able Plumbing, Heating & Air is looking for a technician to work primarily residential maintenance and service calls in heating and cooling systems. Work can be on 5x8 hour or 4x10 hour shifts, with no overnight on‑call. Pay is a competitive base hourly rate plus incentives and commissions, with a target annual earnings of $120,000+. In addition to performance pay, employees receive a sign‑on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement accounts, uniforms, iPhone, iPad, and a truck to take home.
Responsibilities
Safely and courteously drive company vehicles.
Perform heating and air conditioning repairs and maintenance.
Complete scheduled service calls and other tasks promptly.
Rotate on call schedule to respond to emergency after‑hours calls.
Track materials and maintain inventory.
Communicate effectively with customers, providing solutions and quotes.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Qualifications
3+ years of relevant professional experience.
Commitment to safety protocols and compliance with heating and air conditioning codes and regulations.
Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screening.
Positive attitude, customer‑centric approach, and ability to work collaboratively.
