Complete Demolition Services, LLC. is seeking a Heavy Equipment and Truck Mechanic with at least 3 years of experience in diesel heavy equipment and truck maintenance. The position is located in Carrollton, Georgia. Salary will be discussed with the company owner based on experience.
Responsibilities
Repair automobiles, trucks, and heavy equipment.
Specialize in diesel mechanics.
Perform routine vehicle maintenance and preventive maintenance schedules.
Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components, conduct inspections, and perform diagnostic tests.
Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies and components (power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics).
Verify vehicle performance by conducting test drives and adjusting controls and systems.
Maintain vehicle appearance (cleaning, washing, painting) and records (annotations of services and repairs).
Maintain shop equipment, troubleshoot breakdowns, support preventive maintenance, and manage supplies and inventory.
Keep costs in check using warranty options and evaluating service and parts alternatives.
Update job knowledge through education and technical publications.
Enhance the maintenance department’s reputation by taking ownership of new requests and exploring added value opportunities.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years experience as a heavy equipment or truck mechanic.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of shop equipment and mechanical inspection tools.
Attention to detail, dependability, and thoroughness.
Good verbal communication and documentation skills.
Experience with inventory control and supply management.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced and varied work environment.
Deadline‑oriented and detail‑focused.
