Job Summary
We are a leading national equipment rental company seeking a skilled Road Mechanic / Field Service Technician to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and advanced repairs on heavy equipment at customer job sites. This role offers hands‑on field work, career growth, and the opportunity to work with a wide range of construction and industrial equipment.
You will service and repair aerial work platforms, generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and general construction equipment while ensuring safety, reliability, and top‑tier customer service in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance and advanced repairs at customer locations
Diagnose hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical system issues
Service construction equipment, including lifts, generators, pumps, and specialty machinery
Maintain safety standards in all fields and job site environments
Travel locally/regionally as needed for service calls
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
1–2+ years experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Technician, or Field Service Mechanic
Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems troubleshooting
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL may be required in some locations)
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in indoor/outdoor environments
