Role Description
We are seeking a part-time Bookkeeper for a hybrid role based in Brooklyn, NY. This position involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations. The Bookkeeper will handle daily bookkeeping tasks, including posting journal entries and working with accounting software. This hybrid role allows for a combination of in-office and remote work.
Qualifications
Proven experience in Bookkeeping and preparing Journal Entries
Proficiency in Financial Statements preparation and general Finance procedures
Familiarity with Accounting Software and related tools
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Experience in the healthcare or nonprofit industry is a plus
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
