Job Description
Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a boutique trial and litigation firm seeking an experienced Paralegal to support its Corporate Restructuring Practice Group. As the Paralegal, you will work closely with attorneys and legal staff playing a key role across a variety of active bankruptcy matters. This is a full‑time, direct‑hire opportunity that offers the flexibility of one remote day per week after a successful onboarding period.

Key Responsibilities

Handle electronic court filings in state and federal trial and appellate courts

Docket, calendar, and monitor deadlines, hearings, and court dates for active matters

Organize and maintain pleadings, exhibits, hearing notebooks, indexes, and case files

Review, prepare, and process legal documents, including pleadings, court orders, and related filings

Prepare Tables of Contents, Tables of Authorities, and appendices for court submissions

Provide comprehensive litigation and administrative support to attorneys in the bankruptcy and restructuring practice

Coordinate with attorneys, staff, and court personnel to communicate case status and ensure compliance with court rules and firm procedures

Qualifications

At least 5 years' experience supporting bankruptcy litigation, with direct hands‑on Chapter 11 experience required

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat, with experience using CM/ECF and PACER

Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

Exceptional attention to detail, including strong written and verbal communication and proofreading skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively, building effective relationships with attorneys, staff, clients, vendors, and court personnel

Proven ability to perform well under pressure, multitask, and maintain flexibility, including availability for overtime as needed

Bachelor's degree preferred; Paralegal certification preferred (BLS certification a plus)
