Job Overview
Full-cycle recruitment for engineering and other technical roles. Partner with hiring teams to define requirements, source and assess candidates, manage the hiring process, and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system. Growth opportunity within a talent acquisition team.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and ideal candidate profiles for engineering and other technical roles.
Source candidates through job boards, social media platforms, networking, and other creative channels.
Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to evaluate technical capabilities and cultural fit.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, coordinating with interviewers, gathering and consolidating feedback, and extending offers.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and activity notes in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Build, manage, and nurture a strong pipeline of engineering and technical talent for current and future hiring needs.
Stay current on industry trends, talent market conditions, and competitive hiring practices to inform recruitment strategies.
Coordinate and support onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
Partner with internal stakeholders to continuously improve recruitment processes and candidate experience.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
2–3 years of technical recruiting experience.
Proven experience with full-cycle recruiting, from initial sourcing through offer acceptance and onboarding.
Experience recruiting for technical skill sets, including engineers, IT, finance, procurement, and supply chain roles.
Hands-on experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS) to manage candidates and requisitions.
Strong talent acquisition and technical recruiting expertise.
Ability to effectively schedule and coordinate interviews with multiple stakeholders.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with candidates and hiring teams.
Ability to assess both technical qualifications and cultural fit during screening and interviews.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple open roles and candidates simultaneously.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Interest in growing within a talent acquisition team and contributing to new projects and initiatives.
Ability to use creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive candidates.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with evolving hiring needs.
Ability to analyze hiring trends and provide insights to improve recruitment strategies.
Work Environment and Job Type
Full-time, on-site position based in Hunt Valley, with standard hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Contract position based out of Cockeysville, MD.
Pay and Benefits
Pay range: $35.00 – $43.27/hr.
