Duties and responsibilities

Develop and support creative design concepts for clients and projects.
Prepare and produce CAD drawings and architectural design documentation.
Interface with clients on design issues and develop architectural solutions.
Develop, modify, and review production drawings and construction documents, correcting and updating as required.
Develop solutions for basic design problems.
Assist with master planning, site planning, and building planning and design efforts using 2‑D and 3‑D modeling and digital presentation packaging.
Provide creative design direction during conceptual and schematic phases.
Perform design computations, specifications, and compile data for basic to complex assignments.
Assist in construction administration by reviewing shop drawings, creating a master log of submittals, and responding to RFIs, SIs, and change directives.
Prepare finished material sample boards and graphic presentations for client approval.
Coordinate or assist with outside disciplines such as Civil, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, and other consulting services.
Review building codes and conduct zoning analyses to ensure compliance with legal standards.
Ensure timely and effective management and delivery of drawings to meet project goals and objectives.
Stay current with graphic standards and construction methods.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Architecture degree with 5 to 7 years of architecture and design experience; Master of Architecture preferred.
Architect License preferred.
Knowledge of design trends, construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer-supplier selection.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe CC, and rendering software.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
