Position Details
Position: First (1st) Shift Packaging Operator I (Line Lead)
Shift: 5:30 a‑m – 3:30 p‑m, Monday‑Thursday (Hours will vary during peak)
Pay: $18.95 per hour
In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also have the following skills: Supply Chain, Auditing, Product Compliance, Shipping, Logistics, Lead.
Minimum Experience
Coordinating tasks within a production line, including item organization, product production, product replenishment, and quality.
Experience using a commercial WMS (warehouse management system) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP, etc.
Technical computer skills.
A hands‑on role spent most of the shift on the warehouse floor, moving to and from multiple areas of the building, requiring extended periods of standing and walking.
Lifting up to 40 lbs.

Role Purpose
Efficiently operates packaging lines according to established procedures and customer specifications, while meeting all quality standards. Oversees the activities of associates assigned to specific packing area/product.
Key Accountabilities
Package product into bags, boxes, or totes per customer specifications.
Document quality checks and enter into the system.
Read and disseminate information on the product specifications and packaging requirements.
Assist in training new associates and cross‑training backup associates.
Pull product samples and test product mix, labeling, and/or weight against specs.
Follow all safety, environmental and quality guidelines.
Must be able to perform all duties of packaging operator II.
Maintain housekeeping duties around packaging equipment and in warehouse.
Responsible for lockout/tagout of equipment when clearing jams or performing basic maintenance.
Perform basic adjustments to operating equipment to maintain finished product conformity to specs.
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
