
Assistant Controller

Overview
RiVidium Inc. is a nationwide firm focused on Cybersecurity, Information Technology (IT), and Application Development. We are looking to fill the role of Assistant Controller in the Chief Financial Officer's Office and support the company's federal government contracting operations.
Key Tasks
Develop accounting organizational strategies by contributing accounting and financial information, analysis, and recommendations for strategic thinking and direction, and establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.
Provide financial projections by coordinating budget/forecast preparation for divisions and collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial information for program budget reviews.
Develop accurate cost estimates and manage cost-plus contracts, ICE submissions, and provisional rates.
Plan, organize, and coordinate the month‑end and year‑end close process and assist in bank reconciliations.
Maintain sufficient funds by forecasting cash requirements and obligations.
Assist in preparing quarterly divisional profit and loss analysis.
Coordinate the preparation of schedules to support quarterly GSA reports and payment filing.
Aid the CFO with internal and external audit requirements and gather PBC documents.
Assist the CFO in corporate planning, budgeting and forecasting.
Oversee all corporate billings, taxes, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
Assist in training and retaining competent accounting staff.
Enhance automation for core accounting functions and develop and implement accounting controls.
Assist in customer invoice submissions using different government platforms.
Other duties as assigned by the CFO.
Additional Responsibilities
Reconcile general ledger accounts.
Prepare, review, and approve journal entries for all GL areas including cash, investments, R&D accruals, revenue, elimination entries, and allocations.
Update accounting policies in accordance with US GAAP.
Perform other duties and ad‑hoc projects as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance.
10+ years of government contracting accounting experience and expertise in US GAAP and FASB.
Ability to develop and implement projects and prioritize multiple concurrent initiatives.
Effective written and verbal communication skills with all levels of domestic and international personnel.
Professional interaction with a culturally diverse staff in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong staff‑management skills.
