Job Overview
Leidos is seeking a System Administrator for Beale AFB, CA, responsible for overseeing JWICS operations, maintaining C4I systems, and ensuring security patching for all Wing and subordinate unit SCIFs. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and hands‑on experience with JWICS environments.
Primary Responsibilities
Work directly with site users and liaise daily with the ESD and ESC AF to resolve user and network issues and maintain the integrity of the Site domain.
Perform investigative administration operations to support the Cyber Security Operations Center for malware, spyware, Trojans or other unauthorized software detected on any device at the Site.
Provide full‑time daily operations with potential after‑hours and weekend duty via on‑call support.
Work autonomously with minimal oversight while coordinating with multiple personnel to fulfill responsibilities.
Gather facts and use effective analytical and evaluative methods to plan actions, make sound decisions and solve security problems.
Assist USAF and other government agencies in creating and developing SSO documents, PowerPoint presentations, formal messages, background papers, staff summary packages and other administrative tasks.
Provide SCI security support functions and access to JWICS systems located within the SCIF.
Basic Qualifications
Active TS/SCI security clearance at start of employment.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Assurance or other related field and 10+ years of relevant experience (or Master’s and 6+ years). Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Current Security + certification.
Pay Range
$73,450.00 - $132,775.00
