The Impact you’ll make
As a Technical Program Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the development and productization of advanced software solutions that power Lam’s global Service Business. You will lead cross‑functional teams to deliver high quality, scalable products while shaping the long‑term systems architecture that supports engineers, the field, and customers worldwide.
What You’ll Do
Lead complex, multidisciplinary software programs from concept through global deployment
Actively listen, participate, and lead project team activities to promote collaboration and high performance
Take ownership of assigned tasks, implementing and participating in corrective actions to ensure timely closure; make appropriate decisions within scope and elevate when necessary
Drive end‑to‑end program planning and execution, including roadmap delivery, scheduling, risk management, and cross‑functional issue resolution across global teams
Influence and align senior stakeholders across product, engineering, business development, marketing, and field organizations to achieve cohesive decision making and successful program outcomes
Manage feature pipelines and evaluate progress, quality, and release readiness across project and program tiers
Own and evolve scalable business systems, software integrations, and process architecture
Deliver executive level reporting, communications, and program updates with clarity and precision
Champion operational excellence through improved processes, metrics, and best practices
Perform deep analysis, generate insights, and present data‑driven recommendations to leadership
Drive adoption and continuous improvement of Agile / SAFe methodologies to enhance delivery efficiency and team alignment
Serve as a champion for customer and engineer experience, ensuring products and systems deliver measurable value and global impact
Who We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 8+ years of experience, or PhD with 5+ years of experience, or equivalent industry experience
12+ years of experience in technical program management, continuous improvement, or related technical leadership roles
Ability to travel up to 10% to engage with field users and understand customer and engineering requirements
Demonstrated ability to make effective decisions that drive successful implementation of technical, process, or operational changes
Strong understanding of business process development, process controls, and mapping work item execution to organizational objectives
Required tool proficiency: Jira, Confluence, Workboard or equivalent Agile and OKR platforms
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or domain knowledge in semiconductor fabrication, equipment operations, or related high‑tech industries
Strong understanding of program management methodologies and experience with Product Development & Release (PDR) processes
Relevant project/program management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or Scrum Master
Familiarity with OKR (Objectives and Key Results) frameworks for alignment and execution
Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies; Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus
Hands‑on experience with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies
Proficiency with program and project management tools such as MS Project, QuickBase, Office Timeline, or equivalent platforms
Experience with organizational change management and adoption methodologies is a plus
Demonstrated ability to champion field needs and drive alignment between customer‑facing teams and internal organizations

Salary
CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $125,000.00 - $270,000.00. The above salary range is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
