Position Purpose
Operate and maintain an inserter to produce mail pieces and prepare mailing for the Post Office. Inspect pieces during production and make adjustments to keep machines running.
Education / Experience
High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ year experience working in a mail production facility operating a mechanical inserter. Experience with USPS postal regulations strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
Produce mail-pieces using automated inserting technology.
Operate folding machines, cutter and bindery equipment.
Operate machines that insert printed matter, such as letters or booklets into envelopes.
Maintain equipment using provided maintenance schedule.
Maintain optimal level of productivity.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for a long period of time.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
