Position: Industrial Network Engineer (OT / ICs Networks)

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma (Hybrid)
Duration: 12+ Months

Key Responsibilities
Network Monitoring & Operations: Monitor network health, performance, and availability across operational sites; troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues; respond to alerts promptly; validate primary and backup communication paths (cellular, satellite, terrestrial); analyze logs to identify recurring issues or service degradation; support incident response and service restoration efforts.
Configuration & Implementation: Configure, stage, and deploy routers, switches, and firewalls; execute migrations and device cutovers using standard configuration templates; support installation of circuits and new network hardware; perform post‑deployment validation and peer reviews; maintain accurate configuration records and repositories.
Compliance & Security: Ensure compliance with corporate network and security standards; review configurations for unauthorized or non‑compliant changes; support audits, patching, and vulnerability remediation; maintain secure configurations across all network devices; ensure devices are integrated into authentication, logging, and monitoring systems.
Documentation & Knowledge Management: Maintain network diagrams, IP address documentation, and configuration records; develop and update SOPs, deployment guides, and troubleshooting documentation; contribute to internal knowledge bases; ensure all changes are documented and version‑controlled.
Collaboration & Communication: Participate in team standups and project planning sessions; coordinate with engineering, operations, and field teams; communicate effectively with stakeholders and leadership; provide regular status updates and progress reports.
Automation & Continuous Improvement: Develop and utilize automation tools/scripts for deployments and validation; identify opportunities to streamline repetitive tasks; support automation workflows (e.g., onboarding, compliance checks); assist with lab testing and validation prior to production rollout.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong expertise in network engineering fundamentals (routing, switching, firewalls).
Hands‑on experience with DMVPN and BGP (must‑have), routers and switching infrastructure, network monitoring and operations, configuration, deployment, and implementation.
Knowledge of network security and compliance practices.
Experience with automation/scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible, Nornir, or similar).
