Role Overview
Digital Technology (DT) Site Lead
– The position is onsite at the facility in North Berwick, Maine. The role leads digital technology initiatives for the P&W Facility, supporting manufacturing, assembly, aftermarket repair, and engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the DT team to ensure operations are supported through applications, infrastructure, and DT processes.
Provide updates to DT leadership on key aspects of local business DT components.
Manage and develop DT professionals to foster career development.
Improve and develop innovative site capabilities and software with Connected Factory and Industry 4.0 principles in conjunction with the strategic roadmap for all sites.
Work with key business leaders to understand specific DT requirements.
Translate customer requirements into design solutions across multiple manufacturing and enterprise applications.
Understand key application usage for the business and serve as liaison to subject‑matter experts.
Work with other P&W DT disciplines to ensure coordinated project delivery to meet business priorities.
Document local DT processes & procedures and ensure audit compliance.
Address facility expansion & business transformation requirements.
Perform budget & investment planning for IT needs.
Streamline business workflow processes and develop effective technology.
Manage components of DT software life‑cycle development processes.
Support the onsite infrastructure ecosystem (LAN/WAN networking, data storage, servers, data center operations – UPS, PDU, fire suppression, climate control).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years of experience in Digital Technology; or an advanced degree with 8+ years of experience.
U.S. citizenship required.
Must be able to work onsite in North Berwick, Maine.
Technical expertise with industrial networking, secure machine‑tool integration, VLAN segmentation, and OT/IT architecture design within manufacturing environments.
Experience architecting and deploying SCADA/HMI platforms (WinCC, iFix, AVEVA, Ignition) including design, security, software development, and data integration.
Strong software engineering background—designing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and deploying production‑grade applications in .NET, LabVIEW, C/C++, Jython, and Python.
Support digital systems in complex development or aerospace environments with high compliance and reliability requirements.
Ability to design and govern end‑to‑end manufacturing system architectures (data acquisition, inspection systems, SPC, visualization platforms, enterprise integration).
Excellent customer‑service skills—high‑level service to internal or external needs.
Independent work with limited direction and aptitude for process improvement.
Interpret high‑level business requirements and liaison between business customers, technology teams, and support teams.
Strong analytical, organizational, problem‑solving, project‑management, concise writing, communications, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated leadership—indirect & direct supervisory experience.
Experience in a customer‑facing role as a Customer Relationship Manager.
System architecture and design related to manufacturing solutions/dashboard visualization.
Basic infrastructure support (network hardware and data centre component maintenance).
Preferred Qualifications
Secret or Top Secret clearance.
