We are currently seeking a seasoned Store Manager with an entrepreneurial mindset to lead operations, drive financial performance, and foster a positive, high-performing team culture. This role is critical to ensuring safety, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall business growth.
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including safety, profitability, customer experience, and team leadership. This individual will play a key role in building long-term customer relationships, managing staff performance, and maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all shop operations, including automotive and general service technicians
Recruit, hire, train, schedule, motivate, and evaluate team members
Deliver exceptional customer service by actively listening and consulting with customers
Follow up with customers regarding services, recommendations, and completion timelines
Oversee comprehensive vehicle inspections and develop detailed repair recommendations
Create and manage computerized repair orders and source necessary parts
Present and explain pricing estimates while promoting service specials
Supervise sales, accounting, and clerical functions performed by Service Advisors
Ensure proper inspection, diagnosis, and repair of domestic, European, and Asian vehicles
Maintain accurate inventory levels and minimize inventory loss
Ensure cleanliness, organization, and environmental compliance of the facility
Manage employee payroll, scheduling, and timekeeping
Prepare and submit daily sales and performance reports to corporate leadership
Lead by example while reinforcing company vision, values, and culture
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Store or Service Manager
Strong general automotive knowledge
Proven leadership and team-building abilities
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Experience with P&L management and operational performance
Proficiency with POS systems and computer applications
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
College degree or relevant coursework
3+ years of experience in the automotive repair industry
Supervisory, mentoring, or coaching experience
Background in continuous improvement practices
