Graham Personnel Services is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
Responsibilities
Receiving and Inspection: Receive and unload incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Inspect received items for damages and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
Stock Management: Organize and maintain inventory in an efficient and accessible manner. Rotate stock to ensure the oldest products are used first (first in, first out - FIFO). Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Order Picking and Packing: Accurately pick items from shelves based on order requirements. Pack and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring items are properly secured for transit. Label packages with appropriate shipping information.
Quality Control: Ensure all outgoing shipments meet quality standards. Report and quarantine defective products.
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in the warehouse. Comply with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
Proven experience as a warehouse worker or similar role.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
Working Conditions: The job may require extended periods of standing, lifting, and repetitive movements. Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
