We are looking for a Customer Service Specialist to be the heartbeat of our front-end operations. This isn't just about processing transactions; it's about delivering the "world-class" experience our customers expect, from a warm welcome to a genuine "thank you." As a key player on our team, you'll balance precision at the register with the leadership skills needed to tackle special projects. What You'll Do
Own the Front Line: Deliver world-class service by greeting every guest, resolving requests with expert product knowledge, and ensuring every shopper leaves with a sincere "thank you."
Master the Transaction: Execute high-speed, accurate sales and payment processing while maintaining a perfectly balanced drawer from the start of your shift to the finish.
Lead & Level Up: Take charge of special customer service projects and help grow the team by training new cashiers and delegating tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
Drive Growth & Clarity: Clearly communicate the benefits of the Scheels Visa Rewards program and use your problem-solving skills to handle complex customer needs with professional tact.

Professional Problem-Solver: You use tact and great judgment to turn complex customer situations into positive experiences, all while maintaining a high-energy, winning team atmosphere.
Culture Fit: You arrive early (10 minutes is our standard!), bring high energy, and have a genuine desire to help others.
Skills: Basic math and communication skills are essential for sales and reporting.
Physicality: This is a "heavy work" role. You should be comfortable standing, walking, and occasionally lifting/moving up to 100 lbs.
Education: High school diploma (or GED) and 13 months of related experience are preferred.
Schedule & Compensation
Hours: Average of 40 hours per week.
The Shift: Includes a mix of opening shifts (Between 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM) up to 2 closing shifts (12:00 PM 9:00 PM), and a set day off each week.
Monday through Friday (6:30 AM - 2:30 PM) with flexibility as needed.
Weekends: Minimum of every other weekend (Saturdays between 9:00 AM 9:00 PM; Sundays 10:00 AM 6:00 PM). Occasional Saturdays may be needed.
Pay: The posted compensation is a base hourly rate.
