Senior Project Manager – Delivery Management
The Senior Project Manager in Product Consulting leads day‑to‑day delivery for client engagements, guiding teams through Agile and/or Waterfall execution to achieve clear outcomes. You help teams stay organized and focused by keeping plans clear, work visible, and decisions moving. At this level, you coordinate dependencies, manage scope, maintain clear communication, and support delivery teams through risks and issues while building strong stakeholder partnerships and reinforcing predictable delivery. You work closely with the delivery team and client stakeholders to make sure expectations match what the team can deliver, and that changes are handled in a controlled way. This is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite in Hartford, CT and the remaining days remotely, which will eventually move to fully remote down the road.
Responsibilities
Project / Program Leadership
Lead delivery using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies based on engagement needs
Manage dependencies within and across teams to keep work coordinated
Manage timelines and budgets with a high degree of accuracy
Lead scope conversations and maintain transparency around competing priorities and changing requirements
Communicate risks and issues clearly and define mitigation plans teams can execute
Resolve conflicts and issues while keeping delivery on track
Produce clear, concise status reporting for stakeholders
Delivery and Consulting Excellence
Support customer satisfaction in partnership with the delivery team
Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and project team members
Collaborate and negotiate with stakeholders to drive successful outcomes
Support the team in removing blockers and maintaining momentum
Mentorship and Team Development
Demonstrate a base understanding of Agile and guide teams toward higher levels of Scrum maturity
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospectives
Identify process improvements through regular retrospectives and team collaboration
Provide practical guidance that helps teams navigate delivery challenges and issue resolution
Growth and Innovation
Contribute to pre‑sales processes and activities
Assist in defining client experience and engagement processes within 3Cloud
Use artificial intelligence tools to improve personal and team efficiency where appropriate
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred
4+ years of experience in project management
Scrum Master certification
Experience leading a Scrum team
Ability to analyze situations quickly and resolve conflict effectively
Experience implementing Agile techniques
Ability to adapt to a changing, fast‑paced environment
Experience with Azure DevOps and/or Jira preferred
Strong communication skills that are articulate, straightforward, thoughtful, and consistent; strong interpersonal and mentoring skills
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Strong interest in using technology to solve problems
Natural inclination for building and fostering relationships with clients and project teams
Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and guide a team through issue resolution
Ability to multitask across multiple concurrent streams of work
Strong collaboration skills and comfort working in a team‑oriented environment
Experience managing all aspects of the software development lifecycle
Experience in the Microsoft technology ecosystem preferred

You partner closely with client stakeholders and internal teams to manage scope, timelines, risks, and delivery outcomes across the software development lifecycle.
Project Management

Maintain governance for day‑to‑day execution, including decision making, escalation, and reporting
Track delivery health through timelines, budgets, risks, issues, and mitigation plans

Use tools such as Azure DevOps and/or Jira to manage work visibility and team execution where applicable
Product Management
Support scope and prioritization conversations by clarifying tradeoffs and sequencing work against goals and constraints

Help translate stakeholder needs into actionable delivery plans and backlog expectations in collaboration with the team
User Experience
Coordinate with design and delivery contributors so experience work stays connected to delivery plans
Support feedback loops by incorporating learnings into planning and prioritization discussions
Maintain alignment between stakeholder expectations, delivery realities, and user needs through clear communication
General Consulting
Build trust with client stakeholders through consistent communication, follow‑through, and strong meeting facilitation
Navigate conflict, ambiguity, and change by bringing structure to decisions and focusing teams on outcomes
Contribute to pre‑sales activities by supporting planning, delivery approach input, and engagement readiness
Help shape and improve client engagement processes through practical lessons learned from delivery
