Supply Planner

Primary Purpose
The primary purpose of the Supply Planner is to manage inventory and supply planning for the business and ensure effective participation of the supply chain and operations teams in the overall Sales and Operations Planning process (S&OP). Planners work to develop, present, and recommend plans, solutions, and strategies associated to effective Sales and Operations Planning process development that are reviewed by all levels of the business.

What You’ll Do

Develop, present, and recommend plans, solutions, and strategies associated to effective Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process development.

Collaborate with Product Managers and Sales Managers to develop and implement inventory and supply plans.

Purchase and manage product line inventories while meeting targeted inventory and service levels; share inventory and purchase forecasts; identify trends through data analysis.

Model and maintain the inventory and supply network within the Logility supply planning tool.

Negotiate with supplier(s) on delivery and quality standards. Monitor supplier onsite delivery performance to provide desired inventory service level and for continuous improvement; assist in resolving supplier delivery discrepancies.

Participate in special projects and programs created to promote ChemPoint’s business strategies; identify improvement/innovation opportunities.

Report key metrics for area of responsibility.

Prepare detailed documentation (process diagrams & reports) to monitor and assess efficiencies.

Perform other related duties as required or requested.

What You’ll Need

High School Diploma or GED required.

Bachelor’s degree from a fully accredited four-year institution or equivalent work experience required.

3-5 years working experience in inventory management.

Knowledge and experience working with MS Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.

Knowledge and experience with advanced enterprise-wide planning tools (Logility preferred).

Capable of adjusting behavior and communication style to successfully interact with others when addressing challenges.

Nice to have: Ability to turn data into clear, actionable visual insights.

Working knowledge of analytical and transaction systems.

Demonstrates leadership behavior, a strong work ethic, and a compelling ability to think critically and problem solve.

Ability to simplify complex concepts for wider understanding.

Ability to conduct process gap analysis, report findings and suggest solutions to achieve optimization.

Ability to adapt area of responsibility processes to meet strategic company, operations, or marketing plans.

Where You’ll Work
This is a hybrid role in Bellevue, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $80,308 – $85,000 annually.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
