Job Summary
FT MRI Supervisor at MUSC/Florence, South Carolina under the direction of the Radiologist and Radiology Director. Responsible for performing radiology procedures in compliance with ACR, ARRT, state regulations, and departmental policies, and supervising ancillary personnel, radiology students, and technologists.
Responsibilities
Perform all radiology procedures in accordance with ACR, ARRT, state regulations, and departmental policies.
Solve technical issues with sophisticated MRI equipment.
Supervise ancillary personnel, radiology students, and technologists.
Manage patient services: 80% of time on patient services, 20% on supervisory and regulatory tasks.
Maintain high level of patient care for all demographics.
Complete other duties as required.
Qualifications
Graduate of an approved, accredited A.R.R.T. program.
Minimum 2 years experience in radiology.
Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly changing health‑care environment.
Strong planning, design, evaluation, and independent work skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Ability to build partnerships with physicians and others.
Ability to function effectively in fast‑paced, high‑demand environment.
Emotional maturity and ability to handle stress.
Licenses & Certifications
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and applicable modalities.
Licensed radiologic technologist by the SCRQSA.
CPR certification.
Additional Information
Location: MUSC Health Florence Medical Center, Florence, South Carolina. Full‑time position (40 hours per week) with State of South Carolina health and retirement benefits. Pay: hourly, Health‑29 grade. Shift schedule to be determined.
