The Strategic Sourcing Associate works closely with more senior Strategic Sourcing personnel, Legal, Finance, and internal business stakeholders to ensure procurement activities are properly documented, compliant with internal policies, and efficiently executed. This position provides review of vendor contracts, focusing on total costs under $100,000, and operational support to the Strategic Sourcing team. It supports execution of vendor intake processes, including evaluating submissions of vendor‑contract‑review requests, reporting, and operational support across the strategic sourcing organization. This position supports negotiations and contract review activities through preparation, tracking, and documentation for complex vendor contracts reviews as well as independently reviews vendor contracts that are less complex.
Essential Duties
Intake Administration and General Operational Support
Coordinate intake of Strategic Sourcing review requests from internal stakeholders
Advise internal stakeholders on review‑request submission process and system
Validate completeness of intake documentation (business justification, approvals, vendor details)
Route requests to appropriate sourcing, legal, or finance resources based on established policies
Maintain accurate records of requests, approvals, and outcomes
Help resolve any system issues and less complex support requests from internal stakeholders
Contract & Documentation Support
Prepare draft Statements of Work (SOWs), order forms, and standard contract documents using approved templates
Coordinate contract routing for review, approval, and execution (OneTrust)
Maintain organized contract files in document repositories or contract management systems
Assist in compiling redlines, summaries, and comparison materials prepared by senior team members
Prepare contract markups for low complexity contracts
Reporting, Tracking & Data Management
Prepare basic reports and summaries for Strategic Sourcing leadership and stakeholders
Ensure accuracy and completeness of vendor and contract data in systems
Stakeholder Communication & Coordination
Provide status updates to internal stakeholders regarding review‑request progress and help drive reviews to completion
Schedule meetings, calls, and follow‑ups related to sourcing and contract activities
Coordinate communication between sourcing, legal, finance, and business teams
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Certifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, finance, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience)
Preferred:
Coursework or certification in procurement, contracts, or supply chain management
Technical/Soft Skills
Required:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong attention to detail and document accuracy
Preferred:
Experience working with document templates and structured forms
Experience
Required:
0‑3 years strategic sourcing or contract administration experience
Preferred:
Knowledge of information technology concepts
Preferred:
Knowledge of contracting process workflow and contract management systems
Leadership Skills

Compensation Range: $61,400 - $101,800. Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
