Role And Responsibilities
Tactical and strategic purchase cost/value-add projections for existing and new products
Collaborate with Supply Chain and Marketing/Sales to develop and manage strategic supplier relationships
Develop and drive End2End multi-channel sourcing strategy for R&D and strategic purchasing
Systemize early‑stage business discussions for R&D and strategic purchasing
Analyze/Report consumer electronics market trends and product infiltration strategy
Cultivate strategic relationships with various North American organizations suited for discovering disruptive technology
Orchestrate internal sourcing events for evaluation of potential suppliers
Administer database utilization of potential suppliers
Expand candidate company relationship management strategies for past, current, and future suppliers
Identify sources of data for performance metrics, enhance the process to collect data, and promote the collection efforts to outside organizations
Skills And Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 3-6 years of experience in the related field
Solid understanding of technical concepts and functions
Ability to interact and gain cooperation of various cross‑functional team members, including Engineering, Marketing, and Product Planning Management
Proven track record of managing risk in coordination with project teams and experience in supply chain management strategies
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Benefits
The salary range for this role is expected to be between $143,000 to $156,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
