Housekeeper
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services Team at The Lodge at Mills River. The ideal candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff while adhering to regulations.
Key Responsibilities of Housekeeper:
Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection prevention in accordance with facility policies
Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces regularly
Remove trash and handle linen according to facility protocols
Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of cleaning chemicals
Work cooperatively with nursing and administrative staff to support resident care
Qualifications & Skills of Housekeeper:
Previous housekeeping experience preferred (healthcare or nursing home setting a plus)
Ability to follow infection control and safety procedures
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable attendance and professional attitude
