
Product Manager - ISO Insulation

About the Role
The Product Manager is responsible for the strategic health, revenue, and profitability of the Polyisocyanurate (ISO) product portfolio. You will act as the internal and external champion for ISO, leveraging customer research and voice‑of‑customer techniques to ensure our insulation solutions lead the market in thermal efficiency and sustainability.
What You’ll Accomplish
Portfolio Strategy and Ownership: Own the ISO segments and go‑to‑market strategy, develop and execute a multi‑year product roadmap aligned with divisional goals, and maximize profitability and market share.
Market Intelligence and Value Proposition: Maintain deep knowledge of R‑values, thermal performance standards, and competitive ISO/insulation offerings; develop quantified value propositions that differentiate our ISO line from mineral wool, EPS, and other brands.
Sales Activation: Create sales tools, technical training, and marketing content that drives lead generation and simplifies the technical benefits of ISO for contractors and specifiers.
New Product Development (NPD): Author business cases and product requirements for next‑generation ISO products, and lead cross‑functional teams through the stage‑gate process from concept to launch.
Commercialization and Launch: Execute launch plans, including volume forecasting, market testing, and educational seminars on the benefits of ISO systems.
Operational Excellence: Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to prioritize process improvements, cost‑reduction initiatives, and margin enhancement through strategic pricing and mix management.
Industry Advocacy: Represent the company at industry trade shows (e.g., IIBEC, IRE) and participate in technical committees such as PIMA.
What We’re Looking For
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical or Civil preferred), Business, or Marketing. MBA highly desirable.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years in product or channel management within a manufacturing environment.
10 years of progressive experience in Engineering, Technology, or Sales roles.
Technical Expertise: Experience in Polyisocyanurate (ISO) insulation or related building envelope materials is a must.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in taking a building material product from concept through full‑scale market launch.
Financial Acumen: Strong ability to drive margin improvement through value‑based pricing and portfolio optimization.
Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to lead cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
Technical Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and fundamental understanding of chemical/polymer building products.
Travel: Ability to travel approximately 25% for site visits, customer meetings, and industry events.
