Job Description
This position is responsible for ensuring accurate record keeping, prepares, reviews and analyzes reports.

Essential Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

Responsible for assisting the Shift Manager with the scheduling, planning, timing and supervision of all details for the cage department during the intended shift assigned.

Qualifications

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required

Associate’s degree preferred with Two (2) to four (4) years of casino cage experience with at least one (1) year in a cage supervisor role or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills

Must be detail-oriented

Must be able to follow and enforce strict procedural guidelines maintained within the department

Must be able to maintain visual attention and mental concentration for significant periods of time

Good computer and 10-key skills

Strong mathematical skill to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals

Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and other team members

Must be able to work a varied schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays

Work Environment

Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in the back of house of the casino, which can be fast‑paced with excessive noise. Also, there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino‑related environmental factors including second hand smoke and excessive noise.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
