Housekeeping Room Attendant
The Housekeeping Room Attendant position will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. This position reports directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor and Housekeeping Manager. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming
Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities, as needed
Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed
Maintain safety and cleanliness standards for the brand
Stock, maintain, and transport housekeeping supplies throughout the hotel
Dispose of trash and recyclables
Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
Perform guest turn-down service, as needed
Be able to work flexible shifts
Be able to meet the physical demands of the position
Required Skills/Abilities:
Good eye for details
Working knowledge of housekeeping and hotel services, policies, and operations.
Good communication skills.
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of 1 year of housekeeping and/or hotel experience
Must be available for day shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to grasp, lift, and/or carry, or otherwise, transport up to 30 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
