Roving Field Assistant (Runner) - Part-Time, Flexible Hours

Pay: $22/hour + IRS Mileage Reimbursement (currently $0.725/mile) Schedule: Part-Time | Flexible Hours (328 hours/week)

Join Pan American Properties as a Roving Field Assistant (Runner) - a fully field-based role where you'll travel to properties within your region to complete simple, structured tasks such as posting notices, taking photos, and documenting unit conditions. No Experience? No Problem!
You do NOT need:
Property management experience
Maintenance skills
Inspection experience
If you can:
Follow instructions
Take clear photos
Communicate clearly
Show up reliably
We can train you to do everything else.

How the Role Works
Work is assignment-based - tasks are posted with a due date
You choose assignments based on your availability
Assignments can be completed at your own pace, as long as deadlines are met
Scheduling Guidelines:
Minimum commitment: 35 hours per week
Maximum: 28 hours per week
Work must be completed during business hours:
Summer: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
Winter: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
Monday Saturday
This is not a fixed schedule role - it is flexible and self-managed.
What You'll Be Doing
All tasks are straightforward and training is provided:
Property Visits
Travel to properties within approximately a 30-mile radius
Notice Posting
Post required notices and upload photo confirmation
Property & Unit Inspections
Walk properties and units
Capture photos and document conditions using our app
Vacant Unit Documentation
Document unit condition, cleanliness, and readiness
No technical or maintenance experience required
What We're Looking For
This role is less about prior experience and more about how you work.
We are looking for individuals who are:
Detail-oriented and observant
Reliable and consistent
Strong communicators
Able to follow instructions carefully
Comfortable working independently
If you are dependable, organized, and comfortable using mobile technology, you will do well in this role.
Requirements
Must be 18+ years old
Valid California Driver's License
Reliable personal vehicle + proof of insurance
Willingness to travel within your assigned region (~30 miles)
Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet
Availability during daytime business hours (MonSat)
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
Pay & Perks
$22/hour
Mileage reimbursement at IRS rate (currently $0.725/mile)
