Duties and Responsibilities: We're hiring reliable, experienced, unarmed Security Officers! The person in this position will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers by patrolling, monitoring premises, and performing search procedures.
Remain alert, avoid distractions, and observe all activity around the post
Patrol a designated area on foot or in a vehicle
Enforce company and client policies
Observe, report, and document violations of policy by notifying the Shift Lieutenant or Control Dispatch
Respond to incidents in a quick manner
Observe, report, and prevent incidents by providing a physical presence
Officers will remain on the post and wait until they have proper relief
Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
Monitor for irregular or unusual activity
Secure facility and designated areas
Investigate and prepare reports on incidents
Qualifications:
Ability to stand or walk for long periods
Must have excellent written and communication skills
Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Must at least 18 years of age
Prior Law Enforcement and/or Military background preferred
