Entry-Level Sales Development Representative
This entry-level Recruiter / Sales Trainee role is a launchpad into business-to-business, relationship-driven sales. You will help companies solve talent needs while supporting the careers of engineers and science professionals. Through hands-on training, mentorship, and real client exposure, you'll learn how to build a territory, develop trusted partnerships, and grow revenue in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role blends sales development, account management, and recruiting partnership with strong earning potential and clear advancement paths.
What You'll Do
Learn and become a go-to expert on talent solutions and services within your assigned market
Build and manage a targeted list of client accounts and prospects using CRM systems and research tools
Develop relationships with new and existing clients through calls, meetings, and professional networking
Meet face-to-face with decision-makers to understand hiring needs and present tailored solutions
Grow sales and market share across assigned accounts and newly developed business
Negotiate bill rates and contract terms while staying aligned with market conditions
Deliver exceptional client service by placing high-quality consultants and maintaining long-term partnerships
Proactively market candidate resumes to clients to uncover new opportunities
Lead and participate in client meetings, site visits, and relationship-building events
Partner closely with recruiting teams to align top talent with client needs
Participate fully in a structured training program that includes job shadowing, role play, and coaching
Engage in ongoing mentorship and development with opportunities to progress into leadership roles
What We're Looking For
13 years of experience in customer service, leadership, or sales (including internships, clubs, or campus roles)
Strong interest in building a long-term career in professional, relationship-based sales
Confident communication skills and the ability to connect with people at all levels
High sense of urgency and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Comfort presenting ideas and leading in-person client meetings
Professionalism, integrity, and strong interpersonal skills
Curiosity and motivation to learn new tools, industries, and sales concepts
Interest in sales, business, or related fields
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience with customer-facing, sales, or leadership roles
Interest in supporting clients across engineering, sciences, and corporate functions such as finance, HR, and supply chain
Ability to build lasting professional relationships with clients and consultants
Comfort using CRM platforms and networking tools
Motivation to succeed in a performance-based role with commission and incentives

This is a full-time, in-office position (MondayFriday, 7:45 a.m.5:30 p.m.) in a collaborative and performance-driven office environment. You'll receive a paid, 24-week training program designed to set you up for long-term success. Compensation includes a competitive base salary with unlimited commission potential, quarterly bonuses, performance incentives, and an all-expenses-paid annual trip for top performers.

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $65000.00/yr. Benefits and Compensation Unlimited commission potential Paid 24-week training period to start Initial base salary of $60,000 after hourly paid training period Our top 10% of account managers earned an average of $111,000 in year one, $145,000 in year two, and $343,000 in year five (2023 data).
