FM&I Modeling Analyst

Role: FM&I Modeling Analyst Location: Houston, TX (Onsite) Duration: 6 months contract Job Summary: Seeking a Modeling Analyst with strong experience in energy markets and quantitative analysis to support trading decisions. The role focuses on building analytical models, deriving insights, and collaborating with business stakeholders to identify commercial opportunities across power, gas, oil, and low-carbon markets. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain fundamental models, pricing models, and forecasting tools Perform quantitative analysis to generate actionable insights for trading teams Collaborate with traders and analysts to enhance model effectiveness and business impact Analyze supply-demand dynamics and market drivers across energy commodities Communicate analytical findings clearly to stakeholders Identify opportunities to standardize and optimize modeling processes Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a quantitative/STEM field Experience in energy markets (gas, LNG, power, or oil) Strong understanding of market fundamentals and trading concepts Hands-on experience with statistical modeling (regression, time series, forecasting, ML) Proficiency in programming (Python preferred) Experience working with large and complex datasets Strong problem-solving and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of European energy markets Experience with data engineering and building data pipelines Familiarity with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Statsmodels At ASPIRE IT SOLUTIONS INC, we''re not just another staffing and recruiting agency; we''re your strategic partner in talent acquisition and career advancement.
