Description
Responsibilities:
Processing TL and/or LTL carrier paperwork and approving carrier invoices through the TMS (TruckMate) or Aljex systems to pay carriers and upload documents
Maintain the paperwork email box and audit various documents and paperwork for accuracy, confirm charges are accurate, and adjust invoice line items when necessary
Communicate and provide follow-up with carriers on missing invoices and paperwork and upload documents to FST portals via internet
Meet weekly and monthly deadlines to ensure auditing is completed timely and handle invoice discrepancies and/or requests pertaining to invoices submitted by carriers
You will be held accountable to comply with all defined business process and the utilization of all technology platforms, as defined by FST.
Requirements:

Take ownership of your Duty to Communicate all required and relevant information to necessary people, departments, and customers
1+ year experience with billing (transportation billing experience strongly preferred)
Desire to coach and train new employees
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires you to manage various documents and tasks
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent time management skills; work with weekly and monthly billing goals and deadlines
Effective communication skills via phone and e-mail
Strong problem-solving skills to handle billing discrepancies
Detail oriented with intermediate math skills
