Warehouse Associate
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for preparing products for shipment by skid, crate, or box, and processing standard shipping paperwork. The role involves maintaining a clean and safe working environment, supporting assembly with repackaging and kitting, and safely disposing of packaging materials. This position requires updating storage bin information using SAP and conducting routine inspections of material handling equipment.
Responsibilities
Operate a turret truck forklift, which requires working at heights, to pick orders.
Operate a sit-down forklift to move picked orders from racks to shipping.
Spend approximately 10-20% of the shift on a forklift after training and certification.
Transport scrap bins to the unloading area and transfer materials into the dumpster.
Unload and load trucks using a forklift, with 3-4 trucks arriving daily and 2 outgoing trucks on average.
Unload trucks according to procedure and visually inspect parts before moving to receiving parts staging.
Operate forklift trucks and/or cranes to move materials in and out of assembly work areas.
Essential Skills
Experience with material handling, shipping and receiving, and warehouse distribution.
Proficiency in inventory management and control.
Ability to operate forklifts, including sit-down and stand-up (turret) forklifts.
Experience using RF scanners and shipping systems such as UPS Worldship.
Comfortable working at heights with very-narrow aisle forklifts.
Familiarity with bill of lading and inventory paperwork.
Previous sit-down or stand-up forklift experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous shipping/receiving experience is a plus.
Experience operating turret truck forklifts is desirable.
Comfortable with the smell of paint and oil.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.48 - $21.42/hr.
