Accounts Receivable Clerk
Bay Disposal is looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk at our Norfolk, VA location. We need a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving, improving processes, and delivering excellent internal and external customer support. What You'll Do
Reconcile AR and cash accounts with accuracy and attention to detail
Post customer payments in a timely manner
Support weekly and monthly billing processes as needed
Review and enter credit/debit adjustments
Investigate and resolve customer billing or payment discrepancies
Perform ad hoc analysis and support special projects assigned by the Controller
What You'll Bring
3+ years of accounting experience
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated mindset with a drive to improve processes and solve problems
