About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be a key partner to the Managing Partner and Executive Committee, providing strategic and operational leadership in all financial matters. This includes overseeing accounting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, billing, collections, and cash flow management. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing financial transparency, profitability, and delivering data-driven insights to support decision-making. The role also involves professionalizing the finance function, managing relationships with financial partners, and leading a team to ensure strong cash flow and operational efficiency.

Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive finance experience, including 3-5 years in a senior leadership role within a law firm or professional services environment, is required. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of law firm economics, partner compensation models, and billing structures, as well as experience in modernizing financial reporting and improving operational performance. Strong leadership, communication, and the ability to influence senior partners are essential.
