Industrial Cleaning Technician
General Shale Brick, Inc., the leading manufacturer of brick and masonry materials, is seeking a dependable and hardworking Industrial Cleaning Technician to join our Roanoke, VA manufacturing facility. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness, supporting production operations, and contributing to a safe, team-oriented work environment.
This position follows a Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m. schedule. Be sure to ask about our hiring bonus!
Job Responsibilities
Maintain department cleanliness standards to support safe and efficient operations.
Operate industrial sweepers and perform general housekeeping duties.
Shovel and remove debris as needed throughout the plant.
Cross-train to provide lunch coverage and support production areas.
Follow safety policies and work instructions at all times.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
Willingness to learn and take direction.
Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean workplace.
Physical Demands
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
