Job Title: QC Lab Technician
Supervisor/Manager: The position reports to the QC Supervisor

Summary: Perform analytical testing on raw materials, intermediate, and finished materials based on the specification and inspection plan developed for each individual product. Inspection of the products are to be conducted in a manner consistent with the guidelines and specifications of each customer with regards to safety, quality, and legality.
Key Responsibilities
Raw materials, intermediate and finished product testing
Sample collection and booking, results entry into the system (SAP)
Identify and resolve inspection errors
Perform daily verification of equipment and minor maintenance on test equipment
Ensure all retained samples are identified and properly stored
Use computerized inventory management system and Microsoft Excel for data input and retrieval for all products within the Carrollton Organization
Follow SOP, GMP, GPP and adhere to health and safety requirements

Education, Certifications, Qualifications, Training
Associate’s degree in chemistry, biology or a related field from an accredited college/university or high school diploma and 1-3 years of relevant experience in analytical laboratory. A technical degree and/or experience is a sufficient replacement for an educational degree.

Computer skills (SAP, Microsoft Office, etc.)
Knowledge and experience in quality control
