SUMMARY OF ROLE
Are you a confident Dispute Resolution lawyer ready to take on a new challenge?
DETAILS
This is a rare opportunity to be part of building a dedicated Dispute Resolution team within a progressive, full-service law firm. With a strong flow of referrals from across the business and the freedom to shape how we deliver contentious services, this role offers real scope for impact and growth.
About the Role
We’re looking for a senior-level Dispute Resolution lawyer (around 8+ years’ PQE) to take a leading role in developing our new Dispute Resolution practice. You’ll handle a broad range of contentious matters, typically for business clients, private individuals, and landowners, including:
Shareholder and partnership disputes
Property and land disputes
Debt recovery and enforcement
This role will involve working closely with teams across the firm to take on referrals, deliver commercially sensible outcomes for clients, and help shape the structure and direction of our dispute resolution offering.
It’s ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, is commercially minded, relishes a challenge and will thrive on building something new – with support from an established, forward-thinking firm.
What we’re looking for
8+ years PQE in Dispute Resolution/litigation
Broad experience across civil and commercial disputes
Strong technical knowledge and sound judgment
A proactive, solutions-driven approach
Confident in managing files independently and liaising with clients
Eager to help build and lead a new department
Comfortable working across teams and contributing to business development
Working arrangements
Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Occasional travel between offices may be required
Own car essential
Typically in one of our offices depending on geographical convenience, needs of clients and the team, occasional days from home on a rota basis
We’re not your typical law firm. We’re a fast-growing, broad-service practice with offices across Suffolk and London, known for delivering first-class legal advice with energy, warmth, and clarity.
Atkins Dellow is home to a down-to-earth team of experts who care deeply about the quality of their work and the people they work with. We combine high professional standards with a refreshingly positive working culture – collaborative, supportive, and ambitious.
You’ll be joining a firm that:
Is genuinely people-first, valuing individuals and their development
Encourages new ideas and fresh thinking
Invests in modern tools and processes to support better outcomes
Offers meaningful career progression in a supportive environment
We are committed to recruiting on merit and suitability for every role, on the basis of qualifications and experience. All applications are considered fairly and equally regardless of sexual orientation, race, disability, religious beliefs, age and any other protected characteristic.
