
Quality Control Manager

The
Quality Control Manager
establishes and enforces standards to ensure that all work meets project specifications, applicable codes, and company quality expectations. The Quality Control Manager works closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure consistent quality performance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical guidance related to construction methods, materials, and specification interpretation.
Review project submittals, shop drawings, and material approvals to verify compliance with project requirements.
Establish inspection procedures to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable building codes.
Conduct or oversee periodic site inspections to ensure work is performed in accordance with contract documents and approved submittals.
Identify non-conforming work and work with project teams and subcontractors to implement corrective actions.
Assist with constructability review and quality planning during project startup.
Qualifications
Licensed Professional Engineer or Registered Architect in the United States, with preference for structural engineering experience.
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in construction or design related to commercial building projects.
Strong knowledge of construction documents, specifications, and building codes.
Experience implementing structured inspection and quality verification processes.
Skills and Competencies
Strong attention to detail and documentation practices
Ability to identify quality risks before they become construction issues
Excellent communication and collaboration with field and design teams
Strong understanding of construction sequencing and methods
Ability to provide independent oversight while supporting project teams
