
Replenishment Planning and PO Operations Manager in Dallas

Job Description
Build a frictionless flow of materials.
Your mission: keep production supplied without excess. You’ll orchestrate replenishment plans from OM Partners, maintain flawless inventory accuracy, and keep POs precisely aligned with plant priorities.
Impact you will make
Interpret OM Partners production schedules and inventory reports to set availability, quantities, and priority of materials.
Safeguard on‑hand inventory accuracy.
Run the Open PO report and adjust release timing by pushing or pulling orders as needs change.
Sync daily with the Warehouse Manager on inbound shipments and update stakeholders on status.
Issue purchase orders to replenish stock at the right levels and cadence.
Expedite with vendors; resolve shipment issues at the source.
Collaborate with freight carriers to ensure on‑time delivery; correct invoice discrepancies promptly.
Lead Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCARs): establish root cause, lock in corrective actions, obtain credit for nonconforming inventory, and determine final dispositions.
Your background
Bachelor's degree.
3–5 years in purchasing.
Inventory management experience in Retail, Packaging, or Industrial Distribution.
Capabilities
Analytical:
Comfortable parsing large datasets; precise and detail‑oriented.
Composure:
Able to multitask and deliver under pressure.
Tools:
Advanced Excel; AS400 experience.
Operations:
Accurate computer data entry; knowledge of products and production processes; experience in warehouse environments and scheduling.
Communication, Math, and Reasoning
:
Reads and interprets sales reports, operating instructions, and training/procedure manuals; writes clear reports and correspondence.
Mathematics:
Performs addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; computes rates, ratios, and percentages; calculates discounts, costs, proportions, and volumes.
Reasoning:
Follows written, oral, or diagram instructions; solves problems in situations with limited information or standardization.
Physical demands
Regular walking, talking, hearing, standing, and sitting are required. Vision needs include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Work environment
May be exposed to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. Noise level is usually loud.
