LAO Turnaround Scheduler
Location: Plaquemine, LA Additional locations may include St. Gabriel, LA
Salary: $91,320 - $113,712 Schedule: 4/10
Focus: The LAO Turnaround Scheduler plans, develops, and manages the detailed timeline for outages, ensuring maintenance tasks are executed safely, within budget, and on schedule. It will coordinate resources, track daily progress, and optimize work sequences to minimize downtime, acting as a crucial link between coordinators, operations, and contractors.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for entering and maintaining the detailed job plan data (job steps, logic, resources, etc.), into Primavera Enterprise 6 from SAP to develop the Master TAR Schedule
Full understanding of overall project scheduling fundamentals including but not limited to critical path, dependencies, constraints, and baselines
Prioritizing, planning, developing, and scheduling multi-trade turnaround maintenance, integrity, and capital project activities; perform Schedule Optimization meetings with Operations and incorporate shutdown/clearing plans into Master TAR Scheduler
Responsible for preparing and distributing the look-ahead reports for the daily scheduling meetings; responsible for review, validation, and entry of field provided schedule status updates
Responsible for performing required data queries and generation of the required reports to calculate process and Key Performance Indicators as well as executing schedule what if scenarios, performing an analysis and reporting on results.
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; Project Control certifications (PMP, PSP) preferred
Minimum of 4 years of experience building and executing complex turnaround or outage schedules in refinery, LNG, or chemical facilities
Primavera P6 experience required; SAP knowledge preferred; excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to work independently and as a valued team member; strong interpersonal capability
Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred
Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license
