Compensation Range
Hourly: $19.00 - $21.90 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)
Essential Functions
Assign and track repossession orders via vendor portals
Remarket and liquidate bank-owned assets to positively impact both direct and indirect consumer loan net losses while remaining compliant with repossession laws and Bank policies and maintaining an acceptable level of quality assurance and productivity
File physical damage insurance claims, request ancillary product cancellation refunds, and negotiate fees to further reduce per unit losses
Interact with outside vendors, including repossession agents, forwarders, dealerships, etc.
Generate, send and track regulatory required notifications to borrowers
Negotiate with borrowers, vendors, etc. as needed
Ensure proper documentation and account maintenance
Coordinate collateral and/or personal property redemption
Contact originating dealership for ancillary product cancellation
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Basic knowledge of repossession and remarketing platforms, such as AutoIMS, IBEAM
Basic knowledge of lien perfection and repossession laws/regulations
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required
1+ year related customer service experience required
Collections experience preferred
